Bai's got an interesting profile of former Virginia gov Mark Warner, the "fallback" candidate many Queen-makers are hedging their bets with. They like Hillary, but if the public doesn't, they're keeping Warner close as the guy to pick up the mantle in 2008.

A one-term governor with no international experience, but good looks galore and lots of money. Sounds vaguely like John Edwards, only taller.
