Peacemakers And The Maker Of Peace

Ex-Preacherman doesn't think much of the Christianity of the Christian Peacemakers, or the Christianity of Tom Fox:

Now, had Tom Fox gone to Iraq and preached Jesus Christ and salvation in Him alone instead of "Peace" and anti-American hatred, at least he would have died a martyr's death for the sake of Christ -- not the amorphous goal of "world peace."

As the prophet Jeremiah recorded the people crying, "...Peace, peace; when there is no peace."

Personal Peace comes only through a personal knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior. Romans 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"

Yes. But I still hope that no matter how wayward his politics, Tom Fox found peace in Christ as he faced eternity.
