Repeating History?
The last time they tried this, it didn't work out too well.
The Soviet's Berlin blockade rallied Europe against the Soviets and gave us the opportunity to create a legend and bruise the bear.
Now, the Russians are blocking natural gas to the Ukraine, and on to Western Europe, in the midst of a cold winter. There are other ways to deal with price disputes, and with Russia taking over the presidency of the G8 in 2006, they are going to look across the table at some might pissed off faces.
Putin is becoming more arrogant and doctrinaire with each passing day. How long will it be until he bangs his shoe on the table?
