Kentucky Fried Foolishness

PETA activist Chris Garnett is now officially named Kentucky Fried Cruely.com. Talk about being eaten up by the issues that drive you.

Maybe I'll see if Spread Freedom and Faith Around The Globe.com is taken yet here in California.

"Your table is ready, Mr. Globe. Would you like fried chicken again tonight?"

Some mighty good bloggers (Rick Moore and Stacy Harp, fellow So Cal Bloggers) have posted this already and have said pretty much all that needs to be said of Garnett's decision.

Let me just add this: Early in my career, Kentucky Fried Chicken was a client, back when Col. Sanders was still involved in the company. He didn't start KFC because he didn't like chickens. He started it because he loved chickens and loved people and loved making an honest buck by frying a tasty cluck.

He succeeded because he gave people what they wanted, not because he took away something they wanted.

PETA would do well to learn this lesson.
