No Go For Citgo

I'm starting to hear an echo of a post I made here at C-SM a couple weeks back: Don't support Hugo Chavez; don't buy Citgo gas.

Citgo explains it all:

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, CITGO is owned by PDV America, Inc., an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), the national oil company of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

And as the leader of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela so arrogantly put it, speaking of the president of the United States in the UN:

''The devil came here. Right here. Right here. And it smells of sulfur still today, this table that I am now standing in front of.''

Why would you give a nickle to the coffers that support this man? If you have a Citgo credit card, send it with a note to:

Citgo is also the largest supplier of asphalt to on the East Coast. Write your city and your state transportation departments and demand that they find another vendor.

Of course, we must understand that a dollar not spent on Hugo is a dollar spent on the House of Saud or some other unworthy soul, so drill ANWR, drill the coast, drill the hinterlands!
