NSA Scoop Tied To Book Deal
The NYTimes breached ethics yet again by failing to disclose to its readers that its national security reporter, James Risen, has good reason to sensationalize the story of President Bush authorizing NSA investigations of domestic terror suspects: He's got a book coming out soon.
Drudge reports that in about three weeks, "STATE OF WAR: The Secret History of the CIA and the Bush Administration" will be published by the same outfit that printed Richard Clark's book. Look for the title to change to add NSA to CIA.
Full, honest disclosure this is not.
