Bloggers Beat Down Times
I cancelled my LATimes subscription because of its Sponge Bob editorial. Nearly 2,000 people visited my post on the subject, thanks to Hugh's link.
I forwarded the post to the senior staff at the Times and let them know how much traffic it was getting. Other bloggers, including Patterico, let the LAT know they were pretty irked too.

SpongeBob — An editorial Saturday about children’s literature and cartoons erroneously stated that James Dobson of Focus on the Family declared that SpongeBob SquarePants is a homosexual sponge. Instead, in a speech last month, Dobson criticized as pro-homosexual a tolerance video featuring SpongeBob, Big Bird and others.The correction is welcomed, but still not good enough. Dr. Dobson questioned the entire concept of presenting to kids as young as kindergarten or second grade curricula dealing with any sexuality issues, let along homosexual tolerance.
