Sympathy For The Devil

Sympathy for Saddam comes from the stranges places.

This fellow, almost completely cropped out of the photo by Reuters, is participating in a rally protesting Saddam's death sentence. The rally was organized by an outfit Hugh would say was named for the benefit of Pittsburg Steeler Fans: "The Communist Party of India (Marxist)."

Lest you confuse them with the Communist Party of India (Libertarian).

Why is he protesting the death sentence? Because Saddam was a fascist? That can't be -- the guy's a commie.

Could it be because the commies are against the death penalty? Nope. Think Stalin. Think Hu. Think about it being OK with him if Bush hangs.

So it must be that Bush Derangement Syndrom has spread to India.
