Media Insanity On Global Warming

The ozone hole is going to disappear before too long ... but don't get your hopes up. Writes SFCron science writer Carl T. Hall:

Scientists said they expect the ozone layer will have fully recovered sometime around 2065-2075 -- just in time for global warming to have a shot at destroying all life on Earth. (emphasis added)

Hall doesn't attribute that last phrase to any of the scientists he's apparently drawn on for the sentence's first phrase. Of course he doesn't; that would get in the way of his hysteria-mongering

And still the Warmies say all is fair and balanced, that hysteria and hype have nothing to do with conclusions about global warming. Right.
