Plenty Of Joy To Go Around

Here's the text to go along with the photo above:
Loud applause broke out as al-Maliki, flanked by U.S. Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad and U.S. general George Casey, the top commander in Iraq, made the announcement at a news conference in Baghdad Thursday that [Abu Musab al-] Zarqawi was "terminated."
The really good news is that in the death of Zarqawi, we have finally found the unity and mutual understanding that the Libs say will help us to end this war. Think of the joy in Baghdad as you read what was posted on the jihad pages of the Web:

We want to give you the joyous news of the martyrdom of the mujahed sheik Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
We're all so happy!

That lovely piece of spin was signed by a guy with a suspiciously Muslim-sounding name, Abu Abdel-Rahman al-Iraqi. He's the new guy, the deputy "emir" or leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq. We hope for joyous news on him too, soon.

The Abdel-Rahman quote shows well the death fixation of the jihadists, something the Libs don't quite seem to get yet. Death is the Islamist solution to everything. Put the infidels to death to solve the religious diversity problem and realize their religion's vision of world domination. And better still, die in the process, because that will get the attention of the god of Islam, who doesn't have the same compassionate caring that our God showers down on us.
