Kartoonistan Gone Wild

Following quickly upon Syrian's "No" vote at the IAEA on referring Iran to the Security Council, a Damascus mob torched the Danish embassy.

At this flash point in the cartoon crisis, the interesting question is "Now what?" Will Danes burn the Syrian embassy? Will they take out their anger on Danish Muslims? Either response is understandable, and both would ratchet up the crisis.

Polite, diplomatic Danish response will only embolden the whackos all across Kartoonistan. That's not the reaction we need now.

This is getting more and more interesting.
