Another Attack On Europeans
Where do pro-Palestinian Europeans go when things get to hot in Hebron? Where else? Israel.
Some 60 Europeans from the Temporary International Presence in the City of Hebron, "an international mission of observation whose task is to monitor and report the efforts to maintain normal life in Hebron," fled in a 12-car motorcade to Tel Aviv after rioters attacked their Hebron office.
The team's 11 Danes were already long-gone, says the Lebanon Daily Star. The remaining Swedes, Norwegians, Italians, Swiss and Turks had been hunkered down, not making any patrols of Hebron for the last week, out of fear for their safety.
The question is: Why did they flee? After all, isn't a throng of people throwing rocks and shouting anti-West slogans exactly the "normal life in Hebron" they're supposed to monitor?
