Iran Prez's Insane New Attacks On Israel

Sometimes pulling back from insane positions make you appear even more insane.

In October, Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for Israel to be wiped off the map. Now he just wants to move it. Says BBC:

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that if Germany and Austria felt responsible for the Jewish Holocaust, they should give up land to make room for Israel.

"You oppressed them, so give a part of Europe to the Zionist regime so they can establish any government they want," he said on a visit to Mecca.

Jacques Chirac and Angela Merkel were meeting in Berlin at the time and didn't think much of the idea. "Totally unacceptable," said Merkel.

Ahmadinejad chooses to start his warped history with World War II, ignoring the Jews of Jerusalem at that time, and for all the years going back to Abraham. Can you believe this:

"The question is, where do those who rule in Palestine as occupiers come from? Where were they born? Where did their fathers live? They have no roots in Palestine but they have taken the fate of Palestine in their hands," Mr Ahmadinejad added.

No roots in Palestine? Somebody send this man a history book.
