Iran's Nuclear Intentions More Clear
As a bookend to Mugabe's Uranium Stash (below), Iran's Parliament has made it clear that it intends to pursue its nuclear program no matter what the rest of the world thinks of their intentions.
With 183 of 197 voting in favor, Iran's parliament approved a bill that would bar UN inspectors from its nuke facilities, if the International Atomic Energy Agency refers Iran to the UN General Assembly, according to the NYTimes. The bill would become final upon approval of Iran's Guardian Council, which is expected.
So the bully is bullying. The picture I'd like to see in my mind is of the schoolyard brat flaying his arms wildly at his target, but unable to hit because the target is a grown-up, and he's got his hand on the bully's forehead, holding him just far enough away.
But that assumes that the UN is a grown-up, and that Iran will just stand their flayling, neither of which is a very safe assumption.
