The Witty New Yorker Myth

New Yorkers think they're oh so witty -- but here's proof they're prone to think that the F-word and various sex, drug and puerile anti-Bush references rather than wit.

A New Yorker named Ji Lee printed up thousands of those little white "voice balloons" and stuck them on posters throughout the Witty City, then went around and photographed what people had written on the stickers.
