Daschle Holds Out For Vote Fraud
Who's opposed to a system that will keep the dead from voting? Tom Daschle, who counted on dead Indians to re-elect him. Unfortunately for him, not enough dead Indians turned up, and now Daschle's attacking the Carter-Baker proposals for election reform -- especially a tamper-proof photo ID.
Daschle attacked the recommendation on the basis that it would impose a virtual poll tax on the elderly, poor and minority groups. It seems to me that if they can handle registering for Medicare and food stamps, they'll be able to handle a voter ID.
Of course, the Daschle voters may have legit concerns. Their decomposing flesh won't look good in the photo.
