Hypocrabarakasy
The word is out on Obama -- he's as much of a hypocrite as Al ("Don't look at my big energy sucking mansion") Gore and Nancy ("But I want ... er ... need a bigger jet!") Pelosi.
Earlier this week in Detroit, Obama chastised the U.S. auto industry for not designing more efficient cars to help reduce greenhouse gas. His solution: A tough annual ratcheting up of CAFE standards. His goal -- a 4% increase in fleet efficiency annually -- is so extreme it can only be met, at least for the short term, by building flimsier, lighter, less safe cars.
Fine for us that we putt-putt in a crumble-cage. But not for Barak, sez Jalopnik:

Well, we're glad to see Obama's shifting the blame from the consumer to the automakers. That must explain why the Illinois Senator and Presidential candidate owns a HEMI-powered V8 Chrysler 300C. Obviously it's Chrysler's fault Obama bought a big 5.7-liter engine from them -- he just didn't have a choice. In case the hypocrisy of Mr. O is not registering with you, try this.
