Bloodier And Lustier
I just heard that the man shot by VEEP Cheney suffered a "silent" heart attack and now a portion of his heart tissue is dead. Not good for a man in his 80s.
Which raises frightful questions:
If he were to die, and the death were to be linked at autopsy to shotgun pellets in his cardiovascular system or some other gunshot-related factor, then would Cheney be charged with involuntary manslaughter?
And if he were, would he have to resign, since the crime was involuntary?
Could an aggressive, Democratic county prosecutor charge him with manslaughter or murder, and force a resignation?
Maybe Sue Bob, as a Texas lawyer, has an answer.
In any case, I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than cigar smoking with Bill Clinton.
