MSM Ignoring "Massey Lied" Story

Updated. Yesterday's expose in the St. Louis Post Dispatch that anti-war Iraq veteran Jimmy Massey is lying about US military attrocities did not exactly light the MSM on fire.

AP, which carried three stories about Massey has not run a correction, clarification or retraction yet -- Day One and counting.

A search of the NYTimes and WaPo sites this morning found nothing -- although someone's purchased an ad on the NYT site that pops up when you put Massey's name in the search engine. I couldnt' find an NYT story quoting Massey's allegations, but it's still newsworthy that he's lying about it. Michelle's asked WaPo why it's not correcting its story.

A Google search turned up no recent stories critical of his claims.

Trusty Nexis reveals that out of the universe of papers out there, three picked up the story: The Augusta Chronicle, The Tulsa World and the Charlotte Observer.

No disrespect to those fine papers, but they're not exactly paragons of news gathering. Yet they got the story. Where's everyone else?
