Kudos To Bush On Africa

Speaking of three black women in the Bush administration who are largely responsible for US relations with and aid to Africa, Clinton's former ambassador to Tanzania said:

"I think Africa is unequivocally better off because they hold these positions."

The quote is from a USA Today op/ed by DeWayne Wickham, and serves as a reality-basied counterpoint to recent racist-based criticisms of Bush's response to Katrina.
