"Refugee" Holds On - How Un-PC!

This will be my last post on this matter. It appears that despite howls of protest from the "I can find something that offends me anywhere" crowd, the media is holding onto "refugee." It's a slow slip, not an instant drop.

Reporters don't like to use the same word over and over again, so they seek alternatives, like this AP sportswriter did:
Many states are making it easier for displaced players to get onto the field as administrators across the region have relaxed residency requirements and other transfer rules. People around the sport dismiss the notion that a coach might use those weakened regulations to entice Katrina refugees.
