Dean's First Staff Meeting

The Democrats.org blog has this report on the first staff meeting held by "Chairman Dean." (Doesn't that title have a quaint Maoist feel to it?) Here's the report:
Chairman Dean's First Full Staff Meeting: Ready to Rock and Roll

There was a buzz of excitement in the air just before our first full staff meeting with newly-elected Chairman Howard Dean. Dean arrived promptly at 10:00 am and announced "okay, we're ready to rock and roll." He said that this DNC team had done a tremendous job [It's always a good idea to tell a bunch of losers they're did a tremendous job], and that his plan was to build on what had been done over the past 4 years. He also said that we will be going out directly to the states and help dramatically improve our state and local party operations. He said that to compete and beat the GOP, these investments in people and organizations need to be made, and we will beat Republicans because they are a top-down organization that does not trust the voters - but we do. [Mind-boggling. Even if the Rove-anoia runs rampant at DNC, we're not taking our orders from on high. And if they're not top-down, why do they have to improve their state and local organizations? And "trust the voters?!" How does an organization that routinely talks down to and misinforms voters trust them?] Dean then introduced his transition team and said he would spend the next several weeks traveling across the country spreading this [This what? This what? ... oh ... ] message.
