Tsunami Generousity Abounds
From Christianity Today:
World Vision raised more money online in one day than they did in all of 2003, and has set a goal of $50 million for post-tsunami assistance. While necessary funds continue to pour in, some charities are stretched beyond capacity by the show of goodwill. The Australian branch of Doctors Without Borders asked donors to stop pledging to its tsunami appeal. A spokesman told The Sydney Morning Herald it would be a breach of their ethical code to collect money if it could not be used for its designated purpose.
