The NBC affiliate in Jacksonville FL reports that a judge mandated that a Christmas tree be removed from a federal building. (here) It was replaced with a lighted snowman and a reindeer and sleigh.

The spokesman said the tree was removed to "make sure no one was offended." Well, I'm offended.

Besides, a reindeer and sleigh are tied to Santa, who is tied to religion, as in SAINT Nicholas. Fantastic Daughter #1 points out that next we'll have to remove shamrocks from a renamed St. Patrick's Day. "I wore a green three-leaf pin on Ireland Day."
