Welcome Back, Jimmy Carter
Speaking to a massive rally in Oregon today, the elitist South Chicogoan sounded a lot like the dour peanut farmer:
And by the way, most of the world looks at our cars and homes and things how lucky we are, how much they wish they were here, not how much they hate us.
It's just the elitists who see it that way, and we all know who the nation's biggest elitist is.
"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,. That's not leadership. That's not going to happen." (source)How exactly is that not going to happen? How exactly, Mr. Community Organizer, do you intend to get us out of our driving habits and moderate our thermostats? Set controls on the economy? Get you're no doubt democratic Congress to pass a bunch of high-minded restrictions on us?
And by the way, most of the world looks at our cars and homes and things how lucky we are, how much they wish they were here, not how much they hate us.
It's just the elitists who see it that way, and we all know who the nation's biggest elitist is.
