... as usual. In a comment to my Tookie post below, Bookworm commented:

I was watching the local news coverage on Tookie. They showed Mike Farrell and a passel of other two-bit stars, they showed pictures of Tookie in his gang heyday and in his current "scholarly" incarnation. They showed politicos and protestors. They did not show pictures of the four people whose lives Tookie so quickly and brutally ended. I guess some things just aren't fit for the news....
