Tookie Inches Closer To Chamber

In the non-news story of the day, the California Supreme Court denied a stay of execution filed by Tookie Williams' lawyers. That leaves the Ninth Circuit -- which has denied him perviously -- and Schwarzenegger as the only hope the Crips founder and multi-murderer has to lean on.

The AP story honors Williams, but fails to even mention the names of the people he killed. You must read to the fifth paragraph to learn that Williams committed murders and the ninth to learn that there were three victims of his homicidal personality -- but you don't have to even finish the first sentence of the article to learn that he became a critic of the gang life.

And, you have to read to the twelfth paragraph to learn the Cal. Supreme's voted 6-0 to not spare the gutter scum's life.

The article also says:
During his 24 years at San Quentin, the Crips street gang founder turned his life around to the point that a Swiss legislator, college professors and others repeatedly submitted his name for Nobel peace and literature prizes.
The electrons in AP's computers must howl for justice! They howl for mention of his in-prison crimes that speak against his reformed life, and of course, the fact that even the anti-death penalty Nobel Committee has done nothing with the multiple requests they have received.

And Arnold? No word. But faced with the fact that the US Supreme Court, the California Supreme Court, the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals and the federal District Court have all found him guilty, he really has no choice: Execute his political career, or execute Williams.
