Gunfights Thwart Paki Relief Efforts

I received this email from a missionary in Central Asia updating us on teams in the earthquake-hit regions of Pakistan. Abbreviations are in the origional for security reasons:
Today, we are leaving G by road for Isb as a family together with R. We will leave the town escorted by the army, as there is an allout curfew imposed. Yesterday many have been killed here by bullets. Flights have been cancelled. (they were supposed to be on a flight out of the country for vacation)We have been generously donated and loaded 500kg dried Apricots on our Landcruiser as relief for the B area along the KKH. We have some money and will load a truck in B tonight with 500 quilts for the affected. Tomorrow we should be able to distribute the goods as a family, do assesments of the situation, as well as reaching Isb late at night on Saturday, 15th.
Please do pray for our jurney as we all do not feel well
Pray for me as I am driving myself
Pray against landslides and falling rocks
Pray for much blessing for the hungry, cold and homeless families on the way
My central Asian friend tells me, "There have been renewed gun battles swirling around refugees even as relief is trying to get to them. It's a real tragedgy and a nightmare. Prayer is needed...."
