BigTrouble For African Dictator

Robert Mugabe, king of the old-line African tyrants, may be running out of time as his nation runs out of money and food -- there's not even money to buy food for his army, which as all good tyrants know, are just as good as kicking you out of power as they are at keeping you in power. BBC reports:
The army in Zimbabwe is no longer able to feed all its soldiers, military analysts in southern Africa have said.

The Institute for Security Studies, based in South Africa, told the BBC that the army had run out of money to buy adequate daily rations.

This week, soldiers spoke of being sent home on forced leave. The army denied it was because of food shortages.
Mismanagement, corruption, drought and sanctions have combined to create the problem. Mugabe is responsible for three of the four. Will his unfed army allow this national ineptitude continue? Some think so:
[M]ilitary experts describe Zimbabwe's armed forces as professional, disciplined and loyal to President Robert Mugabe. There is no suggestion at this stage of any widespread dissent within the ranks of the army.
Well, they're the experts. But I wouldn't put my money on their call.
