Google Hires A Patriot

Google, famous for tilting anti-war and failing to note such modest events as Easter, has hired Dan Senor, formerly the Bush Administration's primary spokesperson in Iraq, to be its VP of global communications strategy.

Google was looking for "an unconventional hire" for the position and they found one. The politically correct search engine is trusting its corporate voice to a man who was Paul Bremer's spokesperson, the former director of the Coalition Information Center, and the former communications director of a Republican Senator (Spencer Abraham, former R-MI).

The war between Google, Microsoft and Yahoo is heating up, so Senor might be a very smart pick. But will he be able to tolerate the shenanigans?
