How Heroes Think

Quoted on the front page of today's OC Register:

"I'm glad the Iraqi people went out and voted under the circumstances, the violence and the threats. All the stuff we did for them, they didn't take it for granted .... It feels like all the work we did, it meant something."

The quote is from Eric Castro, an Army vet from Santa Ana who lost a leg fighting in Iraq.
