Tolerance Watch, Cartoon Edition

It is hard to imagine a more offensive and intolerant cartoon than this one, which appeared in Harpers.

That's wrong. There have been worse. But this package -- from the dense, slightly dangerous look on the guy's face to the gross (in both scale and taste) slur on the nature of Christian faith -- should have caused any tolerant editor to reject it out of hand.

But in the interest of tolerance towards Muslims who want to kill them, they slandered Christians, who want them to have joy and eternal life.

Par for the course.
