It appears that the Switzibuster has failed. There is no joy in Davos, for Mighty Kennedy has struck out. Tomorrow morning Judge Samuel Alito will be confirmed as an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court.CNN reports that 14 Dems broke ranks and voted for cloture -- that's just shy of one-third of the Senate's Dems. A sign of weakness in the Kennedy/Reid block, for sure.
