Suicide Bus Bomb In China

The Jawa Report has full details and plenty of photos of a suicide bomb attack on a bus in the Eastern China city of Fuzhou. There is a Muslim insurgency in China, but it's in the West. The Chinese confiscated cameras and quickly issues a story: The bomber was dying of cancer and was angry about some things going on in his life; i.e., he wasn't a Muslim terrorist.

The skepticism with which this story was met may have more to do with the Chinese people's lack of faith in its official media than any specific information countering their story.

One thought occurs to me, though. In tightly controlled China, who could "Huang Maojin ... a farmer from Fujian's Gutian County" obtain enough explosives for this sort of devastation? A McVeigh type of fertilizer bomb? Or maybe it wasn't Huang Maojin, but Muhammed Moajin, sent from Western China ....
