Watcher's Winners

Wolf Howling, in his first week as a member of the Watcher's Council, was given a warm welcome, as his post, Of Islamist Foxes and British Chickens, placed first in this week's quest for blogging excellence by the Watcher's Council. I was excited to see Watcher of Weasels' appointment, so the results are very cool ...

... even if Wolf Howling knocked my entry, FBI Rebuts CAIR Scare Tactics, to second.

Over among the aliens, Teddy Bear Mohammed from Pierre Tristam's Middle East Issues Blog came in first, followed by The 2nd Annual Worst Quotes From The Daily Kos (2007 Edition) from Right Wing News. The latter would be a hoot if it weren't so darn frightening.

You can see the Watcher's posting of all the winners here. Interesting, I suppose, is the fact that in both the Watcher's Council entries and the aliens, the spread was exactly the same: 2 1/3 votes for first, 2 for second, a tie for third at 1 2/3, followed by fourth with 1 1/3. Amusing.
