Islam Again Can't See Itself

Faced once again with evidence that their religion breeds violent and soulless followers - this time, the evidence is the discovery of a plot that if successful would have killed as many as 5,000 innocent airline passengers - Islam's leaders once again blamed others instead of Mohammed:
Prominent British Muslims, including three members of Parliament, said in an open letter Saturday that "current British government policy risks putting civilians at increased risk both in the U.K. and abroad."

The letter, printed in several British papers, said Britain's intervention in Iraq and the failure to secure an immediate cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah militants in Lebanon were providing "ammunition to extremists who threaten us all."(AP)
For starters, evidence shows that plotting for the airliner attacks began well before Hezbollah's deadly rain of rockets on Israel forced the Israelis to strike back. Muslim leader lie #1.

And for the forgetful, just a reminder: 9/11 preceded the war in Iraq. Muslim leader lie #2.

Then there's this:

Among the two or three still at large, he said, was Matiur Rahman, a senior figure in the al-Qaida-linked Pakistani militant group, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, whose name was mentioned by one of the detainees during interrogation.

Rahman is wanted in Pakistan in connection with sectarian attacks on minority Shiite Muslims in Pakistan, in two failed attempts on the life of Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf in December 2003, and attacks in Karachi against Westerners, the official said. Rahman is believed to have met with some al-Qaida operatives in recent years, he added.

Iraq and Lebanon have nothing to do with Islam's attacks on itself. If there were no West, Muslims would still be killing themselves in the name of Allah. Muslim leader lie #3.

As the leaders of the Islamic faith point their guilty, blood-stained fingers at us, here in the States, CAIR is playing a related game.

An American Muslim group expressed distress Thursday over President Bush's use of the term "Islamic fascists" to describe the suspected terrorist plotters in Britain.

Parvez Ahmed, board chairman of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, wrote in a letter to Bush: "You have on many occasions said Islam is a `religion of peace.' Today you equated the religion of peace with the ugliness of fascism."

Show me the peace! All I see is ugliness! CAIR is siezing on a word that offends them, instead of confronting their religion's actions that kill us.

Besides, what is fascism? Websters calls it a belief system that "exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition." OK, we have to substitute a relgion for nation or race -- hence "Islamofascism" --but there you go.

The mirror has been held up to Islam once again, and once again, Islam looks but does not see. A word of caution for 1 Corrinthians: 13-12:

Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

Judgment will come, and it will not go well for the leaders (to whom much is given, much is expected) who allowed their followers to perpetrate great evil in the name of God.
