Judge Karlton's Pledge
I pledge ... No, scratch that; a solemn, binding promise implies beliefs ... allegiance ... Can't say that; the obligation of loyalty means hierarchy, power over others and the black man's burden ... to the flag ... That's no good; a flag is a symbol and some people think of religion as symbols, so that's putting religion into the pledge ... of the United ... I'll let that pass, but who really thinks they're united any more? ... States ... That's got to go; far too Republican, that whole states rights thing ... of America ... No way! Naming this Native American continent after a white European male ... and to the republic ... Uh-uh. That means it's led by the one who got voted for, and we all know that's not the case ... for which it stands ... There's that symbolism no-no again ... one nation ... I don't think so because it's "the man's" nation ... under God ... AAAAAARRRRGH! MY EARS ARE BURNING! I FEEL FAINT ... NAUSEATED ... with liberty ... that's fine, no problem with "the right and power to act, believe, or express oneself in a manner of one's own choosing," as long as you don't mention "under G*d" ... and justice ... As if! That's got to go because justice implies judgment and morality ... for all ... Ha! The few maybe, but not the all.
