Video Clip of Zimbabwe Camp

BBC has a downloadable video clip from Amnesty International showing the terrible conditions in the makeshift camps that have formed since Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe leveled the homes of the poor in that country's cities.

The camps are now home to 700,000 people or more, and they are not places where people can live. "We are going to die here," the Amnesty clip shows one man saying.

What is the world doing about Robert Mugabe and his willingness to kill his people to stay in power? China is sucking up to him. The UN has issued a study that calls for change.

And countries everywhere are simply standing by because they expect human grief to come out of African socialist plutocracies -- an astounding combination if ever there was one.
