Cheat-Seeking Missles

One of the Leftyblogs I read the other night about the Terri Schiavo case included a comment from one of the prominent posters that hearing Tom DeLay on the radio speaking on the subject "made him sick to his stomach."

I had the same feeling this morning, reading these quotes from Michael Schiavo in the LA Times:
"And it's sad. If they can do it to me, they can do it to everyone in this country."

"It's just incomprehensible that a government can walk all over somebody's private judicial matter because of their own personal feelings."
It cannot be any clearer that Mr. Schiavo's entire case is one of "feelings," not morality, and that it boils down to "It's all about me." It is sadder and more incomprehensible by far that a person can be painfully deprived of water and food until she dies so another person can get what they want.
