That Confusing Morality Thing
Since I started this thread after the election, it's carried a lot of stories about Dem's failure to understand the morality vote. This is the first about the Dem's failure to understand their own morality.
In a UC Berkeley News article on George Lakhoff's efforts to train the Dems about message, he tells the interviewer: "[Conservatives] have a huge, very good operation, and they understand their own moral system. "
The clear implication is that Lakhoff's LibDem clients don't understand their own morality. Hmmm ... I guess it is hard to understand something that changes with each whiff of wind. And that would make it nearly impossible to understand anyone else's morality, especially one based on immutable and eternal principles and a clear understanding of the difference between good and evil.
